Who we are

What we collect and why
Contact form and email. Your name, organisation, email address and the content of your message. We use them to reply to you and, if the conversation continues, to carry out the engagement you have asked about. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where an engagement follows, the performance of a contract.
Engagements. Where you become a client, partner or contractor, we hold the contact and commercial details needed to deliver and account for the work, for the duration of the relationship and for six years afterwards for tax and legal purposes.
Website. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security, which it retains under its own policy.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except providers we use to run the business, such as our email and hosting providers, who process data on our instructions, and where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for marketing to people who have not asked to hear from us.
Where it is held
Enquiry and engagement data is held in the United Kingdom on our own infrastructure and with UK or EU-based providers. Where a provider stores data outside the UK, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after twelve months. Engagement records are kept for six years after the engagement ends. Applications for roles are deleted six months after the role is filled or withdrawn, unless you ask us to keep yours on file.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our processing of it, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to the address above. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Client data in engagements
Where we process personal data on a client's behalf in the course of building or operating a system, we do so as a processor under a written data processing agreement with that client, which governs that data in place of this notice.
